All pieces found on Top Of The Town Vintage are preloved and have been lovingly hand picked by founder Sophia Rosemary. Each piece has been given a little love and attention before they are listed. They have been hand washed or dry cleaned, repaired or altered where necessary and possible so you are meeting these treasures at their Sunday best.

As is the case with all vintage items, they've been on a journey before finding their way safely into your adoring arms. This is just a gentle reminder that these items were preloved and we will always highlight signs of wear. Please do take this into account when making a purchase and be sure to read the item description carefully. All Top Of The Town Vintage's pieces are absolute keepers (we're possibly bias) and we really do hope they can find love again in you!

On each item listing you will see 4 possible condition markers; Fair, Good, Very Good and Excellent. Please see an outline of what each condition category below:

-Excellent means in exceptional condition. There may still be slight defects or signs of wear but overall this piece is in the best possible condition for its age .

-Very Good means still exceptional condition, however, there are 1 to 3 minor flaws which should really be considered when purchasing this item. The item is on first glance in excellent condition and the majority of the flaws are unnoticeable until you look very hard.

-Good means the item is wearable but there are flaws and this really must be considered before purchasing. The flaws maybe minor but there are a considerable amount or there are 1 or 2 major flaws.

-Fair is still wearable but the flaws are major and possibly noticeable

Sizes fluctuate from decade to decade, you're buying a little piece of history and this is one off the many charms of vintage. That said we understand it makes vintage sizing tricky to master and so we give a detailed measurement guide per listing to make purchasing an item as easy as possible. We also offer a estimated UK size based on the standard high street size chart but please be aware this is just a suggestion and we would always advise referring to our measurements for a more accurate idea. 

Within each monthly online collection we aim to always offer a wide selection of sizes, ranging from a UK size 6 to 18 however due to the nature of vintage and one of pieces, this isn't always possibly.
