Betsy Dress
A 1950s classic! Betsy is an exquisitely handmade swing dress in a cotton candy cane stripe and rose bud print. In a classic 50s silhouette, the waist is cinched in with a knee length, full circle skirt. I believe this dress would initially made to be worn as a boat neckline with the attached belt at the front, however I feel it can be worn back to front also, with the V neck and that beautiful pleated waistline at the front. The choice is yours! There’s a faint mark and a small pin sized stain on the skirt (see photo) however both are largely hidden beneath the skirts folds. There is also some wear to the belt but this is to be expected with the dresses age and aside from a few flaws, this piece is in great condition.
Suggested UK size 10 (possibly a small 12). Very Good Vintage condition.
