Meet Cathy, a truly ethereal 1960s maxi dress by “California Charmer”. Perfect for a special occasion or possibly even a dream wedding dress for a bride on her special day! Cathy is in a beautiful cream colour, the fabric feels like a crepe and is fully lined. With lace inserts on the angel wing sleeves and A line, maxi skirt. The scoop neckline is also trimmed with a delicate lace. Certainly a dress which has taken inspiration from Regency styles with an empire line shape. In good condition with a small pull on the sleeve and some tiny pulls on the skirt, none are hugely noticeable. There is a small hole on the skirt but due to the delicate nature, I feel it’s less noticeable unrepaired and there is a hole on the skirt’s ribbon hem. Please see photos. A magical vintage piece to treasure forever.
